For the past 6 years, I have been doing a joint November art show with my friend Dave Stahl at the Bucks Coffee Shop in Lambertville, NJ. It's fun doing an art show with another painter. But last year, the coffee shop owner, Babs, commented that the gallery wall looked too over-crowded with both of our artwork all jammed together.  She requested that for 2019 we do separate art shows. So Dave had a solo show in April and on November 1st, I hung up my art for my first solo show and the paintings are nicely spaced out on the wall. It's a great milestone to have your first solo show but its also bittersweet not having a buddy to share the event with. I will relish the triumph. The show runs through the end of the month.
